Any embargo date, publication restriction or confidentiality condition attached to a press screening, announcement, asset or interview must be observed exactly. Internal shortlists, jury discussions and unannounced winners are confidential. A breach may result in correction or removal requests, revoked accreditation, exclusion from future activity or legal action where appropriate.
Anonymous complaints may be considered where appropriate. However, anonymity can limit the Festival’s ability to verify information, ask follow-up questions or provide a complete response. Complaints are handled confidentially wherever reasonably practicable, and information is shared only with people who require it to investigate or resolve the matter, or where disclosure is legally required.
