Before You Submit
Check the current edition information before paying a fee. Confirm the correct category, running time, completion status, screener format and any edition-specific eligibility requirements.
Where premiere information is requested, provide an accurate record of public screenings, online availability, broadcast and distribution. The legally binding requirements are contained in the official Submission Terms.
Submit the final or substantially complete version intended for review. Completion-date eligibility is determined by the current edition rules.
Films containing dialogue not primarily in English should include accurate English subtitles unless the published rules state otherwise.
Running time should include credits and must fit the limits for the selected category. Incorrect category placement may make an entry ineligible.

Submission Fees
Preparing Your Entry
Provide a working screener, accurate credits, contact details, running time, country, completion year and any required declarations.
Supply a concise synopsis that communicates the central premise without unnecessary production notes or promotional language.
Provide clean production stills suitable for programme listings, press use and festival promotion. Avoid images containing embedded text where possible.
A portrait-format poster should be legible at small sizes and accurately represent the submitted title.
Where available, include a public or password-protected trailer suitable for promotional consideration after selection.
A press kit may include biographies, credits, production notes, contact information, stills and relevant publicity links.
Selection Process
Entries are considered using consistent programming criteria including storytelling, originality, direction, performances, technical quality and overall impact. Glowflare does not use a separate pre-selection tier: eligible work is reviewed as part of the main programming process.
A selection is only official once the festival has contacted the submitter and the required confirmation and screening information have been completed.
Keep the email address and platform account used for submission active throughout the notification period.
Selected filmmakers may be asked for a high-quality screening file, subtitles, stills, trailer, poster, credits and other materials by a stated delivery deadline.
If Your Work Is Selected
Selected films must provide the requested cinema-quality exhibition format by the stated delivery date. This may include a DCP or another approved master file.
Selected work may be required to provide an English subtitle or caption file, including accessibility captions where requested by the festival.
Filmmakers are welcome to attend, but travel and accommodation are normally the filmmaker’s responsibility. The festival may provide local guidance but cannot guarantee financial support.
Selected filmmakers may be invited to live or recorded Q&A activity. Festival photography, video and interview material may be used to promote the event and the selected work.

FilmFreeway is the standard submission route. An alternative method may only be considered where the festival has confirmed it in writing before the relevant deadline. Unsolicited files or links sent by email are not treated as completed submissions.
