1. Purpose
This policy outlines the measures taken by the Festival to protect submitted works from piracy, unauthorised access, copying, recording, or distribution.
It also explains the responsibilities of filmmakers, judges, staff, and attendees in maintaining screening security.
2. Scope
This policy applies to:

- Taking reasonable steps to protect submitted works

- Using secure platforms and screening methods where possible

- Limiting access to authorised individuals only

- Use reputable submission and screening platforms

- Restrict access to authorised staff and judges

- Avoid unnecessary duplication or distribution of files

- Require confidentiality from individuals granted access

- Recording or photographing the screen is strictly prohibited

- Mobile devices must not be used to capture content

- Staff may monitor auditoriums for unauthorised recording
