Glowflare Horror Film Festival accepted into the Film Festival Alliance
We’re proud to share some exciting news that Glowflare Horror Film Festival has officially been accepted as a member of the Film Festival Alliance. This is an important milestone for the festival and a proud moment for everyone who has supported us as we continue building a home for independent horror filmmaking and original genre cinema.
The Film Festival Alliance brings together festivals that share a commitment to professional standards, accessibility, inclusion, positive relationships with filmmakers and the continued support of independent cinema. Becoming a member reflects the values we have worked to build Glowflare Horror Film Festival around from the beginning.
A Festival Built for Horror Filmmakers
Glowflare Horror Film Festival began with a genuine love of horror, genre cinema and the creativity of independent filmmakers. Horror has always been a space where storytellers can experiment, challenge expectations and create unforgettable experiences. Filmmakers can build entire worlds, explore difficult ideas and leave a lasting impression through atmosphere, suspense and bold visual storytelling.
We wanted to create a festival that celebrates that creativity while giving filmmakers a welcoming and supportive place to share their work. Since then, filmmakers and audiences have helped the festival grow into something far greater than we first imagined.

What This Means for the Festival
Being accepted into the Film Festival Alliance is an exciting step forward, but the heart of the festival will remain the same. We will continue working to create an inclusive, professional and filmmaker-friendly experience in which independent artists feel welcomed, respected and excited to share their work.
We will also continue celebrating the full range of horror and genre storytelling, from supernatural tales and psychological horror to creature features, thrillers, dark fantasy, experimental cinema and films that refuse to fit neatly into a single category. Original ideas, bold creative choices and new voices will always have a place at Glowflare Horror Film Festival.

This recognition belongs not only to the festival team, but to everyone who has supported the festival and trusted us with their work. Thank you to every filmmaker who has submitted a film, every audience member who has joined us and every person who has helped spread the word.
